North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its Histopathology Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing histology requests and non-gynaecological cytology requests, including FNA work. The ideal candidate will have Full GMC registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council. They will also have experience of coronial post mortem work and a willingness to participate in autopsy rota. Additionally, they will have a commitment to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff, as well as non-medical health professionals. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a reflective approach to personal development and effectively manage poor performance. They will also be expected to participate in continued professional and personal development, including CPD. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Histopathology Services team and will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.
