SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with students who require additional support in a Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with additional needs to access learning materials and activities
  • Use a sensory approach to engage students in learning
  • Deescalate crisis moments by understanding triggers and using a nurture-based approach
  • Build positive relationships with students and support them to interact with peers
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Experience working with students with additional needs
  • Ability to work full-time and be paid on a weekly basis
