An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a seasoned and accredited Lead Neuropsychologist specializing in neurorehabilitation to join our team at Brainkind. We are in search of a Lead Neuropsychologist who can guarantee the delivery and enhancement of superior, innovative, and evidence-based neuropsychological rehabilitation practices.

Compensation:

  • Annual salary ranging from £56,164 to £65,262, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will encompass:

  • Ensuring the provision and advancement of high-quality, innovative, and evidence-based neuropsychological rehabilitation practices.
  • Conducting specialized psychological assessments of our clients using various psychological and neuropsychological tools, self-report scales, structured observations, and interviews.
  • Formulating and executing specialized psychological treatment plans for mental health and adjustment challenges based on a comprehensive psychological understanding and current best practices.
  • Providing expert psychological advice to the multidisciplinary team regarding therapeutic approaches or intervention strategies and overseeing their execution.
  • Engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings focused on the delivery and development of clinical services.
  • Assisting Service Managers and Regional Managers in all aspects of service management and reporting to the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Good honors degree in Psychology (2:1 or above).
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent accredited by the BPS, with HCPC registration.
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist with HCPC.
  • Member of the BPS.
  • Postgraduate training in Neuropsychology through an accredited route for the QiCN.
  • Ability to articulate and convey complex and sensitive information effectively across diverse settings and audiences.

Desirable:

  • Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology and membership in the Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
  • Clinical supervision training for Doctoral trainees.
  • Postgraduate training in psychological therapy models.
  • Proficiency in long-term planning and organization for the delivery of specialized services in alignment with national policies and best practices.
  • Strong management skills for specialist professional staff and clinical service operations.
