Position Overview

** SIGNING BONUS £6000** (SUBJECT TO T&C'S)

An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a seasoned and accredited Lead Neuropsychologist specializing in neurorehabilitation to join our team at Brainkind. This role is pivotal in transforming the lives of individuals affected by acquired brain injuries (ABI). We are in search of a Lead Neuropsychologist who can guarantee the delivery and enhancement of superior, innovative, and evidence-based neuropsychological rehabilitation methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary ranging from £56,164 to £65,262 DOE (FTE) per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will encompass:

  • Ensuring the delivery and enhancement of high-quality, innovative, and evidence-based neuropsychological rehabilitation practices.
  • Conducting specialized psychological assessments of our clients, utilizing a variety of psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, self-report measures, structured observations, and interviews.
  • Formulating and executing specialized psychological treatment strategies for mental health and adjustment challenges, grounded in a comprehensive psychological understanding and current evidence-based practices.
  • Providing expert psychological guidance to the multidisciplinary team in formulating suitable therapeutic approaches or intervention plans, and overseeing their execution.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team discussions focused on the delivery and advancement of clinical services.
  • Assisting Service Managers/Regional Managers in all facets of service management and reporting to the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.

Professional Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Honors degree in Psychology (2:2 or above).
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or its equivalent accredited by the BPS, meeting HCPC registration standards.
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist with HCPC.
  • Member of the BPS.
  • Postgraduate training in Neuropsychology through an accredited route for the QiCN (PG Dip).
  • Ability to articulate and convey complex and sensitive information effectively across diverse settings and audiences.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology and membership in the Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
  • Clinical supervision training for Doctoral trainees.
  • Postgraduate training in psychological therapy models.
  • Expertise in planning and organizing the delivery of a comprehensive specialist service, informed by national policy and best practices.
  • Strong management skills in overseeing specialist professional staff and clinical services.
