Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production line by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of Production Line: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the production line is running efficiently and effectively.
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce the risk of equipment failure.
- Equipment Installation: Install new equipment and machinery as needed.
- Inventory Management: Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to purchase equipment, materials, and parts necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Reporting and Documentation: Write shift reports and contribute to the compilation and production of work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company policies, health & safety, and quality & hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: City & Guilds or Apprenticeship Trained.
- Experience: Time Served as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
- Skills: Ability to diagnose issues and understand the root cause, strong communication and teamwork skills, and strong IT skills.
Package and Benefits:
- Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
