Are you an accomplished academic with significant experience in teaching and researching cardiac function at the molecular and cellular levels? Do you have a robust research portfolio, a history of successful funding, and a commitment to embracing new academic challenges? Are you passionate about pioneering research and delivering an exceptional educational experience for students?
In this role, you will engage in research, teaching, and administrative responsibilities within our academic community. You will also play a vital role in academic leadership concerning the molecular and cellular dimensions of cardiac function.
Your collaboration with our Cardiovascular and Exercise Sciences research community will be essential in promoting our mission to integrate research on cardiac function, neuromuscular activity, and physical health, thereby fostering innovative solutions for human health challenges. This position is particularly suited for researchers focused on the fundamental mechanisms of cardiac function in both health and disease, which is integral to our mission. As a researcher in molecular or cellular biology, you will forge strong partnerships with the membrane biology cohort in Biomedical Sciences, The Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, and the Biodiscovery teams.
