As a Lead End User Computing (EUC) Specialist, you will oversee the technical escalations from the IT Service Desk, which delivers first and second line support for desktop services.
Your responsibilities will include managing the Microsoft 365 suite, Windows 10, SCCM, Intune, client laptops and desktops, Apple devices, printers, tablets, and mobile telephony.
The team also provides assistance for audio-visual and customer systems at the RNLI College/hotel.
This position will collaborate with Technical Specialists to ensure our hardware and software assets are future-ready, while also engaging with the business to understand their technological needs in driving lifesaving initiatives.
The Lead EUC Specialist will possess specific subject matter expertise and participate in collaborative events and projects.
We seek a highly organized professional with strong analytical and mentoring abilities to enhance service delivery and the future potential of the team, capable of managing high workloads in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with Teams rooms is advantageous, as this role entails some audio-visual support responsibilities. The position will also require occasional out-of-hours on-call support for our audio-visual systems at the RNLI College, including our advanced Lifeboat Simulator (training will be provided).
Extensive experience with the Microsoft 365 suite is essential, along with support knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Managed Desktop environments.
- Proficiency in Windows 10/Office 365 products, features, and updates is preferred.
- Experience in a midscale or enterprise setting with over 2000 users, demonstrating customer support and service-level management, along with the application of ITIL methodologies in IT service delivery.
- Awareness of project management methodologies and Microsoft Autopilot is desirable.
A flexible approach is crucial, as some tasks may require work outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends, and you will be included in an on-call rotation.
Some travel may be necessary, thus a valid driving license is required.
