Wolvercote Oxfordshire, United Kingdom St Edward's School Full time £35,000
Position Overview:
Are you dedicated to enhancing educational experiences, fostering connections, and generating opportunities for the community?
St Edward's School is at a pivotal stage as we aim to expand our community engagement initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:
The community engagement program has seen significant growth in recent years, collaborating with local primary educational institutions and charitable organizations.

Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the School's partnerships initiative, enabling students to gain insights into the charitable sector, the significance of volunteering, their potential contributions to the community, and how their skills can be honed through collaboration with our partner entities.

Historically, our partnerships initiative has successfully generated over £66,000 for various charitable causes, facilitated more than 7000 complimentary meals for local charities and schools, and supported numerous activities, including musical and sporting events, as well as educational workshops.

You will be expected to actively oversee the program and all participating students, while also cultivating and sustaining relationships with partner organizations and educational institutions involved.

Additional Duties:
Responsibilities will also encompass the general administration of the community program and associated marketing efforts, alongside collaboration with the sports department and external partners to organize sporting and other events.

Qualifications:
Experience in an educational environment, particularly within independent or private institutions, is essential. Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including businesses, community organizations, and educational entities, is also crucial.

Strong organizational and time-management skills are necessary to manage multiple projects concurrently.

St Edward's School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young individuals, striving to create a secure environment where students feel valued and supported.

We expect all staff members to share this commitment and familiarize themselves with our policies and procedures regarding child protection and security.

St Edward's School is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion within the workplace. We strictly prohibit any form of discrimination or harassment based on age, race, gender, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, or any other protected characteristic.
