Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager will oversee all facets of project execution, from initial marketing outreach to final project acceptance. This role requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Analytical Manager to ensure technical, commercial, and health & safety management for the successful delivery of projects.
  • Manage project activities in partnership with site teams, ensuring profitability across all contracts.
  • Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with the EV team to identify new opportunities and enhance client relationships.
  • Conduct commercial management tasks, including bid management and monthly cost analysis.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Implement quality control measures and focus on environmental considerations during project execution.
  • Deliver projects to successful completion while embodying Actemium's brand values.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, particularly in electrical engineering and infrastructure projects. Key qualifications include:

  • Several years of project management experience.
  • A degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • SMSTS certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in designing low voltage installations in industrial or commercial settings.
  • Familiarity with MV/HV installations is beneficial but not essential.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a disciplined and organized approach.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of construction site operations is a plus.
  • Possession of an ECS Gold card or higher is required.
  • Operational knowledge of NEC contracts is preferred.
