We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in learning disability, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality inpatient services to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to promote independence, well-being, and quality of life for patients with learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to identify and address occupational therapy needs.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality care and professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines.
