Haematology Specialist Registrar

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow Haematology Specialist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our haematology department, you will play a vital role in providing medical cover to our outpatient chemotherapy day unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical cover to the outpatient chemotherapy day unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Check and approve outpatient prescriptions and protocols, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Work closely with world-renowned experts in the field of haematology to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients in the outpatient setting.
- Assess patients receiving chemotherapy treatment and manage any emergencies that may arise, with guidance from the consultant in charge.
- MBBS medical qualification and GMC registration.
- Experience in managing complications and side effects of immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and targeted therapies.
- MRCP (preferred) and evidence of specialist training in internal medicine, specifically haematology and chemotherapy.
