About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our powered access equipment, ensuring that our machines are in top condition for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and at depot, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and meets manufacturer's specifications.
  2. Repair and maintain machines at depot or on-site, using your mechanical and electrical engineering skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
  3. Complete planned maintenance activities, including routine checks and servicing, to ensure the appearance of our fleet meets corporate standards.
  4. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the service they receive and that they are familiar with safe machine operation.
  5. Accurately complete all relevant paperwork, including engineer's reports and service sheets.
About You

We are looking for someone with relevant general engineering maintenance qualifications, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You should have experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
