About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join our accomplished HCOP department at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with complex geriatric needs.
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance and audit processes to ensure high standards of care.
  • Contribute to the development of teaching and training programs for medical staff.
  • Participate in service development and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Person Specification
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification.
  • Entered on the GMC Register, CCST in geriatric and general internal medicine or equivalent within 6 months of interview.
