Job Description

Job Title: Transformation Unit Lead for Patient Services Excellence

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Transformation Unit as the Lead for Patient Services Excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient services across our hospitals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering high-quality, efficient, and modern services to patients and clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient services, including robust monitoring of performance and quality via KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including medicines safety and governance.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality patient services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective governance and quality management.
  • Manage budgets and resources to deliver patient services excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior trust managers and regional pharmacy colleagues to develop and implement patient services strategies.
  • Develop and implement education and training strategies for pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants.

Requirements:

  • Operational leadership experience in large, complex organizations.
  • Experience of leading successful projects and/or operational performance and improvement.
  • Experience of governance, quality management, and medicines safety.
  • Experience of budget management and business planning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior trust managers and regional pharmacy colleagues.
