About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be overseeing Release Management and implementing an efficient release management framework to ensure uninterrupted releases and an optimal customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop detailed release strategies encompassing features, timelines, testing requirements, documentation, and additional specifics.
  • Managing production releases, including risk assessment with a focus on performance and security.
  • Optimizing and supervising release workflows, checklists, and schedules from build to deployment, concentrating on zero downtime and automated processes.
  • Monitoring the progress of release milestones and identifying any issues or risks to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Overseeing software configuration and modifications throughout the release cycle, including feature toggles, database migrations, and orchestrating service rollouts.
  • Conducting quality assurance evaluations and managing testing scope at various phases of the release process.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Software Development and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on expertise in zero downtime release management and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Familiarity with release management, bug tracking, and automation tools.
  • Experience in automating release and deployment workflows.
  • Expertise in executing zero-downtime release and deployment strategies.
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
