Job Title: Django Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Django Software Developer to join our Special Projects team at Quick Release. As a Django Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing impactful products using the latest web development tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other developers and a Product Owner to create innovative products
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders effectively
  • Grow your knowledge, skills, and experience in Django development
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and monthly workshops with the Special Projects team
  • Contribute to and learn from our knowledgebase
  • Use Clubhouse to support our Scrum PM framework
  • Participate in code review and rubber ducking
  • Act as a local Special Projects contact for a Business Unit
  • Support the triage and closure of support tickets
Requirements:
  • Experience with developing full-stack Django applications
  • Track record of designing and developing impactful products
  • Knowledge of the latest web development tools and techniques
  • Ability to write clean code, test thoroughly, and care about the people who use the things you create
  • Effective translation of requirements to features and understanding of how those features should be developed
  • Understanding of Agile practices (preferably Scrum) and git version control techniques
  • Bachelor's degree or higher-level accreditation in Computer Science (or another STEM subject)
