Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at CA Tech Talent in Plymouth. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data centre infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and high availability
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, including storage environments
  • Manage backup and recovery systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with standards
  • Support and maintain VMware environments, ensuring performance and resource management

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience in servers, storage, and network management
  • Proficient in IT infrastructure environments, including server administration and virtualisation (VMware)
  • Strong experience in network management, including security measures and performance monitoring
  • Proven project experience in IT infrastructure rollouts and support
