Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

CA Tech Talent is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT network, datacentres, servers, and storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, monitor, and configure data centres to ensure optimal performance and high availability
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, including storage environments
  • Manage backup and recovery systems to ensure data integrity and compliance with standards
  • Support and maintain VMware environments to ensure performance and resource management
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience in servers, storage, and network management
  • Proficient in IT infrastructure environments, including server administration and virtualisation (VMware)
  • Strong experience in network management, including security measures and performance monitoring
  • Proven project experience in IT infrastructure rollouts and support
