Recruiter - Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition Recruitment Team at NHS Blood and Transplant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization by driving best recruitment practices across our organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all end-to-end recruitment activity for designated directorates and/or specialisms, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Act as the first point of contact for providing value-adding recruitment advice to specified directorates, leveraging your expertise to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Brand & Attraction team to identify the best route-to-market strategy for 'hard-to-fill' vacancies, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Track progress and assist Recruitment Business Partners in owning their directorates, while developing strategic plans for recruitment that align with business objectives.
  • Liaise with other team members to design and deliver effective advertising and campaigns for recruiting to roles, ensuring a strong employer brand.
  • Establish and maintain a talent pipeline for future vacancies and campaigns, fostering relationships with potential candidates.
  • Maintain engagement with successful candidates and potential future candidates, providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Deputise for the Recruitment Business Partner where required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
About YouExperience and Knowledge
  • Knowledge of using social media techniques within the recruitment process, including social media advertising and content creation.
  • Knowledge of recruitment employment law, data protection, diversity and equality legislation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and selection techniques, including interview planning and delivery.
  • Experience of sourcing, analysing and interpreting data and preparing reports/feedback on that data, utilizing data analytics tools.
  • Experience of working in either an agency or an in-house recruitment environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint, with excellent IT skills.
  • Experience of recruitment, selection and interviewing, with a focus on candidate experience.
  • Experience of talent management processes and strategies, including succession planning and talent development.
Qualifications and Training
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience, with a strong academic background.
  • Demonstrate commitment to own Continued Professional Development (CPD), staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
