Systems Validation Engineer

Position: Systems Qualification Engineer
Project: Falcon10x
Location: Cheltenham
Compensation: Up to £75 Umbrella
Contract Length: 12 Months

This role falls within the IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting systems qualification engineering tasks.
  • Providing technical assistance for immediate work activities as outlined in the project schedule.
  • Assisting in the development and/or revision of Qualification Test Procedures.
  • Collaborating with the Test Equipment teams to facilitate the procurement or creation of necessary equipment, which may involve coordination with the Hardware team.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology with a focus on General Systems Engineering, including experience in drafting and approving testing plans.
  • While fluency in the DO160 standard is not mandatory, familiarity with it is advantageous for reviewing and updating existing Qualification Test Procedures.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with agile and scrum methodologies, along with a minimum of 5 years in aerospace systems verification.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to think critically and adapt to evolving project demands.
