Overview of the Position

DAS UK Group is seeking a Claims Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team. Our claims division plays a pivotal role in our leading legal expenses insurance services, and we are in search of individuals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Our offices are designed to be bright, modern, and welcoming, and we offer flexible working arrangements; many of our team members enjoy working from home part of the week. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, and our working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts. We are also open to discussing compressed work schedules for those who prefer them.

In this role, you will utilize your outstanding customer service abilities to handle a wide variety of claims. Your responsibilities will include both telephone and written communication with our clients, as well as collaboration with solicitors and business partners. We will provide thorough training and ongoing support, and you will have opportunities for professional growth through our career development pathway. Key Responsibilities of a Claims Specialist:

Handle a diverse array of claims, prioritizing excellent customer service. Manage the customer journey throughout the claims process, from initial contact to evidence investigation and decision-making, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Deliver clear, concise, and accurate information to clients, business partners, and internal stakeholders. Rapidly enhance your knowledge of DAS products and policies to become proficient in evaluating and identifying claims, as well as coordinating with litigators and solicitors when necessary.

Candidate Profile

A strong understanding of providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting. A desire to excel in a customer-facing or technical role. A calm and patient demeanor when addressing challenging and sensitive claims. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
