Human Resources Business Partner, Investments

Barings is a leading global financial services firm dedicated to meeting the evolving investment and capital needs of our clients and customers.

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support Investment Teams and provide local EMEA support.

This role will work closely with our enterprise HR and Communication leadership teams to provide regional leadership to our Head of EMEA and other London-based executives.

The position is both hands-on and strategic, providing expertise in talent & people management, compensation, talent acquisition, DE&I, employee relations, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead talent management efforts, including talent assessment and succession planning.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness through change management and engagement efforts.
  • Oversee annual HR cycles, including performance management, compensation, employee engagement, etc.
  • Facilitate the development of compensation plans that drive business outcomes.
  • Provide data and analytics to leaders to help drive decisions.
  • Lead workforce planning and help leaders manage their resourcing budget.
  • Work with HR COE teams to lead and implement effective people management strategies.
  • Identify training and development needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Manage and support HR-related regulatory and compliance.
  • Advise the global HR team on practices and approaches by country.
  • Champion enterprise efforts and reinforce expectations within HR.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant Human Resources experience, preferably in Asset Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational development, change management, and coaching.
  • Thorough understanding and hands-on application of internal and external HR principles.
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive effective decision making.
  • Multi-country HR experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent expected.
  • SHRM/HRCI certification or advanced HR degree preferred.
