Research Scientist in Non-Reciprocal Photonic Integrated Circuits

As a Research Fellow in Non-Reciprocal Photonic Integrated Circuits, you will be part of a collaborative project with researchers from eight universities, research institutes, and companies to investigate a novel approach to integrating non-reciprocal functionality in photonic integrated circuits (PICs). This research has the potential to have a significant impact in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on the integration of magneto-bi-plasmonic device elements into a new PIC platform
- Design and fabricate a transceiver PIC and evaluate its performance
- Collaborate with partners to achieve project goals
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher with a PhD in Photonics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. You should have a strong track record of research in photonics, semiconductor devices, or a related discipline, as well as experience with optical and electronic test equipment. Familiarity with programming languages (MATLAB, Python) and technical software packages (Lumerical, Photon Design, CST Studio, COMSOL) is desirable.
