About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of our NHS Cadets programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recruiting young people onto the programme and supporting them to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and engage young people from marginalised communities to participate in the NHS Cadets programme
  • Supervise and support St John Ambulance youth support staff and volunteers to deliver the programme
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery and evaluation
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve programme outcomes and engagement
  • Perform other duties as required to support the successful delivery of the programme

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives. You will have a strong track record of delivering programmes and projects, and be able to demonstrate your ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent in 5 subjects including Maths and English
  • Experience of teaching, training, or coaching young people
  • Understanding of youth and community work, and the challenges faced by marginalised communities
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with experience of leading programme delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
