Senior Food and Beverage Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the University of Kent. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of an exceptional food and beverage service to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in supervising casual staff and delivering an efficient and high-quality bar/bistro service.
  2. Supervise the service of food and drink, as well as all aspects of stock and cash control.
  3. Work closely with kitchen colleagues to deliver a first-class dining experience.
  4. Ensure compliance with all aspects of health, safety, and hygiene standards and adherence to relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of supervising bar and catering staff in a high-volume environment.
  2. Excellent customer service skills in a busy environment.
  3. Health and safety/risk assessment knowledge.
  4. Experience of working in a fast food environment or similar.
  5. Experience of overseeing staff rotas, stock management, transactions, and training.
  6. Knowledge and experience of EPOS and stock management systems.
