Paediatric Nurse Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established and progressive provider of complex care packages within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver tailored care plans that meet the unique needs of each child and their family.
  • Effectively manage the multidisciplinary team through strong communication and teamwork.
  • Provide face-to-face support to children and their families, while creating personalized care plans.
  • Train and support a core team of carers with their clinical skills and activities.
Requirements:
  • RSCN with a minimum of 6 months' experience in the UK and an active NMC PIN.
  • Supportive management style that brings out the best in others.
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years.
  • Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and the MDT.
  • Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs.
  • Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not essential.
