We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our District Nursing teams across Edinburgh and East Lothian.
Job Purpose:The Specialist Practitioner District Nurse provides leadership for the delivery of patient care within their area of responsibility, ensuring high-quality care to patients. They have day-to-day managerial responsibility for the area, including supervision and deployment of staff.
The Community Nurse Practitioner utilizes high levels of decision-making and clinical judgment to ensure patient health needs are met through assessment, treatment, evaluation, and review planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership for the delivery of patient care within their area of responsibility.
- Have day-to-day managerial responsibility for the area, including supervision and deployment of staff.
- Assess care needs, evaluate care plans, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
- Provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives.
- Provide day-to-day leadership for the delivery of patient care for a defined caseload and allocated nursing team.
