Position Overview:
University College Birmingham is in search of an innovative Associate Vice-Chancellor to lead our commitment to enhancing student achievement.

Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, as the Associate Vice-Chancellor (Chief Academic Officer & Student Achievement), you will spearhead the formulation and execution of a transformative strategy aimed at improving student outcomes throughout their academic experience.

Your role will involve providing executive leadership and strategic oversight to our Pro-Vice-Chancellors and heads of essential departments, including student recruitment, marketing, admissions, and learning services, while also enhancing our employability initiatives.

To excel in this position, you must possess a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and commercial challenges faced by post-92 institutions in Higher Education, as well as the evolving expectations of students, along with a thorough knowledge of OfS registration conditions related to access, participation, and outcomes.

You will be a collaborative strategist and a seasoned executive leader, dedicated to ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds achieve optimal results, with a proven history of driving transformational change and sustainable enhancements, particularly in student services, recruitment, and employability.
