The Team:

The Industry Value Engineering team is pivotal in driving transformational change on a global scale.

  • Aligning strategy, product, and go-to-market initiatives with industry-specific needs.

This team comprises industry specialists who possess the business, technical, and strategic insights necessary to implement these changes and collaborate effectively with resources within Celonis and its partner ecosystem.

The Role:

As an Industry Principal, you will engage confidently with C-level executives, representing Celonis and articulating its unique value proposition within the Retail & Consumer Goods sector. You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, aligning our capabilities with their strategic objectives and unlocking significant value through Celonis EMS. Your role will combine deep industry knowledge with proven consulting skills and strong analytical capabilities, positioning you at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing technology firms globally. You will not only excel in understanding business processes but also possess hands-on experience with software capabilities to implement your recommendations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Shareholder and Stakeholder Value:

  • Engage with top executives to explore strategic opportunities for leveraging Celonis capabilities to achieve fiscal returns on key corporate initiatives.
  • Formulate a platform strategy aimed at rapid enhancements in core operational and financial domains of our clients.
  • Collaborate with broader Value Engineering teams to identify and translate clients' strategic priorities into impactful Celonis use cases.
  • Participate in Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects, articulating the value proposition and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.

Influence Business Application Development:

  • Collaborate with field and marketing teams on messaging, positioning, and campaigns across various industries, thereby influencing business application development and corporate growth.
  • Provide insights to product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and applications based on emerging use cases.

Develop Go-to-Market Strategies and Value Execution Programs:

  • Co-create sales enablement and value execution initiatives with Celonis' global field sales and value engineering teams.
  • Achieve unprecedented efficiencies by utilizing Celonis EMS capabilities to optimize comprehensive processes rather than isolated ones.
  • Construct a strategic expansion roadmap for clients, embedding Celonis EMS as a transformative business platform within their organizations to drive adoption and growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Value Selling Expertise: Proficient in the Celonis value selling methodology, encompassing the customer journey stages such as discovery, qualification, value assessment, and Proof-of-Value demonstrations.
  • Product Proficiency: Expertise in guiding clients' IT teams throughout their EMS journey, showcasing the capabilities of EMS and accelerating value realization through dashboard creation, applications, and action flows. A Celonis certification is advantageous.
  • Value Realization Skills: Advanced knowledge in identifying and prioritizing use cases, implementing improvement strategies, and serving as a change agent for clients by establishing operational models and training users to achieve value and renew/expand their subscriptions with Celonis.
  • Project Management Acumen: Capable of planning and managing project scope, expectations, and timelines across multiple projects at various stages of the value journey, leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem as needed.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Proven track record in preparing and presenting results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
  • Domain Knowledge: Utilize advanced business domain expertise in discrete manufacturing and strategic transformation initiatives to create a compelling value roadmap for clients.

Industry Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge of the Retail and Consumer Products sector, demonstrating the ability to understand industry trends and strategic opportunities for the C-Suite while developing an integrated Celonis EMS roadmap.
