Job Title: Enterprise Data & Information Architect

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data & Information Architect to join our Tech team at Yorkshire Water. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our data and information capabilities are aligned with our business objectives and outcomes.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining our Data & Information Strategy, aligning it with our broader Tech and business strategies. You will also govern the design and delivery of technical data & information capabilities, ensuring they support and deliver required business outcomes in accordance with our strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain our Data & Information Strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and outcomes.
  • Align the data & information strategy with our broader Tech and business strategies.
  • Govern the design and delivery of technical data & information capabilities, ensuring they support and deliver required business outcomes.
  • Provide support, guidance, and assurance to our Tech and wider business teams in the development and delivery of strategy, process, and policy.
  • Design, development & management of the enterprise data models to support the objectives of our enterprise and data strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of data & information strategy design and delivery, from innovation & ideas, through to analytics and decision making.
  • Resilient and practical, with experience in large-scale Technology & Data solution design and delivery, preferably in the utilities sector or asset management sector.
  • Detailed knowledge of data integration architectures and technologies, including SAP, SAP HANA, and Microsoft Business Intelligence tools.
  • Understanding of Water Utility processes, including Clean & Wastewater treatment, Distribution Management and Leakage, Sewerage, Energy Generation and Sludge Management.
  • Experience of AI solutions and data governance.
