About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Stagenhoe, a specialist neurological care centre in Hertfordshire. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing expert care and support to individuals with neurological conditions or brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure optimal cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and functional recovery for our service users.
  • Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of service users, reporting any changes or concerns to senior colleagues.
  • Assist in maintaining morale and engagement among service users through effective communication and interaction.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of service user progress and experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans and strategies to enhance service user outcomes.
  • Support the safe and smooth running of the service, maintaining a safe working environment and confidentiality.
Requirements
  • S/NVQ /QCF Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (desirable)
  • Proven experience of working within a team and delivering care services
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Numeracy and literacy skills
  • IT skills, including accessing and using the internet, email, and word processing software
