About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ward Manager to join our team at Priory Hospital Bristol. As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients on our Mixed Acute Ward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients on the ward.
  • Ensure that all staff members are trained and competent to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided on the ward and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
