The Opportunity

A rare opportunity to join a leading international Solar developer with multiple offices across the UK and worldwide.


The Role
  1. Manage the grid-connection application, assessment, and acceptance process to ensure seamless project delivery.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential restrictions for development and highlight areas suitable for solar development.
  3. Establish preliminary contact with landowners to outline possible terms for lease and secure required contracts.
  4. Identify landowners with suitable land for solar development and initiate and complete land option and lease agreements.
  5. Develop and maintain strong local relationships to ensure local support and community engagement.
  6. Plan and direct all activities required for the successful delivery of project development, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently within scope, time, and cost.
  7. Develop and manage projects related to the interaction between users and the grid, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently.
  8. Maintain contact with authorities to drive successful planning and adherence to timelines.
  9. Support development in other European countries, leveraging expertise to drive growth and expansion.

The Person
  1. 2-5 years of experience in solar project development in Europe, with a focus on the UK.
  2. Fluency in English is required, with the ability to speak Italian being an asset.
  3. Profound knowledge of the energy sector in the UK, including regulatory frameworks and industry trends.
  4. Strong local network and ability to establish and maintain it, with a focus on building relationships with key stakeholders.
  5. Ability to work independently and within a team setting, with strong negotiation capabilities.
