Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our team at Galliford Try Group. As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and risk management plans to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinating with Stakeholders: Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that project plans are aligned with business objectives and that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Schedule Management: Monitor and control project schedules, identifying and mitigating potential delays and risks to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
- Resource Allocation: Plan and coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to projects, ensuring that all necessary controls are in place to minimize the impact of risks on project delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in project planning and coordination, preferably in the construction industry.
- Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Education: Degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or project management.
