We are seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join our team at REClifts. As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for managing your service route, consisting of units, and ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of passenger lifts and goods lifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Competent in lift fault-finding diagnostics and first-time fixes for passenger lifts.
- Complete minor repairs on passenger lifts.
- Report defective lifting equipment and order new parts accordingly.
- Participate in an on-call rota and mentor junior Lift Service Engineers.
Requirements:
- Currently working as a Lift Service Engineer or have transferable skills working as a Lift Modernisation Engineer, Lift Installation Engineer, or Lift Repair Engineer.
- At least 2 years of experience working on passenger lifts.
- Hold a full driving license and be willing to travel in the Leeds, West Yorkshire area.
- Qualified to or above NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
- Lives a commutable distance away from Leeds / West Yorkshire.
