Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Crown Lift Trucks Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites
  • Maintain documentation of all works carried out in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures
  • Work to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at our client's premises
  • Monitor and maintain van stock, ensuring sufficient stock for day-to-day maintenance of the fleet
  • Carry out inspections and monitor the safety of repaired and maintained trucks
  • Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork within required timescales
  • Take responsibility for all equipment and tooling, ensuring it is in a safe condition for the type of work being undertaken
  • Work to strict planned schedules and deadlines
Requirements
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work to a high standard and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to continuing personal and professional development
