Job Summary
The HSE Recruitment Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to lead our client's two large manufacturing sites. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance across both sites.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals to deliver site-specific health, safety, and environmental objectives.
- Collaborate with site management to identify and mitigate potential hazards, and develop and implement control measures.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, insurers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance health, safety, and environmental performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
