Senior Internal Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Communications and Engagement Executive to join our team at First Central Services UK Ltd. As a key member of our People pillar, you will be responsible for developing and delivering impactful internal communications and engagement initiatives that drive business results and enhance the colleague experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement internal communications and engagement plans that align with the company's overarching strategy
- Work closely with stakeholders to curate and develop communications that meet the needs of each individual site and culture
- Write, edit, and proof copy across all channels, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligned with our brand and tone of voice
- Host in-person, virtual, and hybrid events to support engagement, product launches, celebrations, social activities, and strategic plans
- Deploy creative thinking and utilize design understanding to create concepts that align with our brand
- Advocate our brand as an ambassador, working with guidelines and championing the values of our business
- Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, working groups, and committees to drive engagement, influence, and educate colleagues on our brand, values, and strategy
- Adapt and evolve processes to reflect the culture, protect the company, and report on ROI
- Work with business and industry data to inform plans and strategies
- Own merchandise locally, ordering, designing, and implementing
- Track success by documenting results, reviewing data, evaluating effectiveness, and highlighting opportunities to increase impact
- Run colleague surveys, creating and managing the process end-to-end, including action plans and supporting committees
- Drive recognition at different levels, in different teams, to support ROI and overarching goals
- Manage local budgets
- Excellent creative written and spoken skills, with the ability to write for a variety of audiences
- First-class drafting, proof-reading, and editing skills, with the ability to write and produce compelling and engaging content under pressure and at short notice
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to juggle and prioritize a busy workload
- Professional and calm under pressure

- Strong knowledge and a solid background in an internal or external communications role and engagement, ideally in the Financial Services Industry
- Good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and working knowledge of Sharepoint
- Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
- Collaborative approach, working as one team with the wider internal communications team
- Able to anticipate next steps and proactive in taking actions to address them
- Strong relationship builder, able to manage partnerships at all levels
