Job Details

Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with specific needs and will be able to provide support in class, small groups, and one-to-one situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to teachers in delivering lessons and activities to children with specific needs
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Work with children to develop their social, emotional, and behavioral skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with specific needs
  • English and Maths Grade C GCSE or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 2 or above
  • Firm, kind, patient, consistent, and approachable demeanor

Desirable Skills
  • Experience in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social Communication Difficulties, and Sensory Processing
  • Knowledge of cognitive and learning strategies
