Job Summary:

The Recruitment Co is seeking a highly organized and proactive Housing Support Coordinator to provide efficient administration support for our Grimsby Housing Related Support services.

About the Role:

The main purpose of this post is to provide dedicated support to adults with a range of housing related support needs. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in areas such as:

  • Answering phone calls to professionals and service users
  • Organizing meetings
  • Taking minutes
  • Auditing files
  • Arranging assessments
  • Timesheet processing
  • Staff attendance checks
  • Filing

The successful candidate will be able to work closely with the local management team in line with the needs of the organization. An excellent standard of verbal and written English is essential, as well as an interest in working in the not-for-profit/health and social care sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient support to services dedicated to supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs
  • Visit those referred to our service and support with completing assessments of needs, to create accurate and detailed records, and devise support plans and risk assessments
  • Work closely with the local management team in line with the needs of the organization

Requirements:

  • Experience in administration support for at least 12 months
  • Knowledge of administration software and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
