About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Bridgewater Community Healthcare. As a Senior Clinical Practitioner, you will work autonomously to provide assessment, diagnostics, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients in our busy urgent care centre.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, exercising professional independent and clinical judgement in managing or referring clients to a variety of primary and secondary care services as appropriate.
- Manage a wide range of healthcare problems, including minor illness and injury, and possess and demonstrate extended skills in the management of these conditions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure a positive and supportive experience.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months experience as a Clinical Practitioner within the last 3 years within A&E and Walk-in Centre/Urgent Care Centre/Urgent Treatment Centre.
- Clinical Examination and Diagnostics - Level 7.
- Able to see and treat Minor Injuries.
- Able to clinically examine and diagnose children of all ages, including neonates.
- Provide evidence of Prescribing (V300), ILS/PILS.
