About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bodily Injury Claims Specialist to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our Bodily Injury team, you will play a crucial role in assisting and supporting our customers when they need us most.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of cases, investigating liability and third-party presented quantum claims (Damage and Personal Injury up to a value of £25,000) and agreeing fair outcomes within policy and legal liability.
  • Negotiate between the Policy holder, Solicitors, and Third Parties to secure the best outcome for our customers.
  • Manage and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service level agreements, internal and external policies, and governance are adhered to.
  • Gather information to enable early arrival at the correct liability decision, considering economic settlement and proactively securing appropriate recoveries to limit business exposure.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in handling a portfolio of claims.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Pride and experience in delivering top-quality customer experiences.
  • Good level of computer skills.
