We are seeking a skilled Bodily Injury Claims Handler to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our Bodily Injury team, you will play a crucial role in assisting and supporting our customers when they need us most.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage a portfolio of cases, investigating liability and third-party presented quantum claims (Damage and Personal Injury up to a value of £25,000) and agreeing fair outcomes within policy and legal liability.
- Negotiate between the Policy holder, Solicitors, and Third Parties to get the best outcome for our customers.
- Manage and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure service level agreements, internal and external policies, and governance are adhered to.
- Gather information to enable early arrival at the correct liability decision, giving consideration to economic settlement, and proactively secure appropriate recoveries to limit business exposure.
- Previous experience in handling a portfolio of claims.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Pride and experience in delivering top-quality customer experiences.
- Good level of computer skills.
