About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare Ltd. As a Senior Nurse (General), you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and leadership to our residents living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Assess the needs of new residents and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement safeguarding policies and administer medications in accordance with NMC regulations
  • Support and mentor junior nurses to develop their clinical skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration and a mentoring or supervision qualification. You will also need to have experience of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of the latest clinical practices.

Requirements:
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN)
  • Mentoring or supervision qualification
  • Experience of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest clinical practices
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
