A highly sought-after opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious client manager to join Olivia Ruella Limited, a well-respected and growing firm of chartered accountants.
Our client, a supportive and mid-tier general practice firm, is seeking a Manager for their office. You will have your own portfolio of general practice sector clients and the chance to grow this portfolio almost immediately.
The workload would be a mix of audit, accounts, and tax, as well as exposure to ad-hoc advisory projects. Your responsibilities will be:
- Reviewing work-in-progress on completion of the job and alerting partners to issues on any overruns.
- Taking full responsibility for the whole client audit, considering planning, fieldwork, and finalisation of the audit.
- Final review of corporation tax returns and associated schedules ensuring they are accurate.
- Final review of accounts preparation
- Involvement in business development and networking events
What are the requirements?
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Have excellent technical knowledge in all areas of accounting, tax, and audit.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients, including WIP & billing
- Demonstrable experience with positive staff management and mentorship
