We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of four in delivering monthly financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  2. Oversee the monthly financial close process, including forecasting, budgeting, and analysing financial results.
  3. Manage all facets of statutory financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements for nine companies and group consolidation.
  4. Ensure a robust internal control environment by conducting thorough reviews of all financial statements.
  5. Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements and manage the external audit process, including drafting technical accounting papers.
  6. Conduct commercial financial analyses and manage special projects to support business case development across the division.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to enhance business profitability and performance, including providing financial guidance to business leaders for strategic decision-making.
  8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and statutory laws.
  9. Identify and drive improvements in existing systems, processes, internal controls, and reporting, ensuring all finance-related activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  10. Provide technical support for the implementation of accounting standards and address related queries.
  11. Collaborate proactively with auditors to resolve complex accounting issues and challenges.
  12. Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, credit card processing, banking, cash flow, project finance, and other duties essential to the role.
Requirements

You will be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills, with the desire to lead a team within a growing, global tech company.

A background within external audit is highly advantageous.
