Customer Service Representative Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our Customer Service Hub, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to a wide range of enquiries related to council services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, communication, and problem-solving. You will work closely with our team to provide a high level of customer service, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and social media
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding council services
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve customer service goals
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of council services and policies
  • Provide excellent customer care and call handling skills

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused or contact centre environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility to work alternate Saturdays and Sundays
  • SVQ2/Higher/National 5 or equivalent level qualification
