About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Special Constable. As a Community Special Constable, you will be working closely with local Parish and Town Councils to deliver visible policing at a community level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with local Parish and Town Councils to identify and address community safety concerns
  • Conduct patrols and engage with the local community to build trust and confidence
  • Support regular officers with investigations and provide assistance to the public
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations

Requirements

  • Be a British Citizen, member of the EC, or other states in the European Economic Area
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the past three years
  • Be willing to undergo vetting and security clearance
  • Have a minimum of 16 hours per month available to dedicate to the role
