Essex Police and Kent Police are seeking a skilled and experienced Campaigns and Partnerships Manager to join their Media and Communications Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of impactful marketing, communications, and behavior-change campaigns that promote the great work of the police force.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, communications, or public affairs, with experience in leading teams and delivering successful campaigns. You will be a creative problem-solver, able to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges, and have excellent communication and project management skills.

As a Campaigns and Partnerships Manager, you will work closely with the police force's partners in national and local businesses, volunteer networks, and across policing in the UK and overseas to promote the force's work and highlight its achievements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing campaigns that showcase the force's commitment to protecting and serving the community, and for evaluating the effectiveness of these campaigns.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the police force's goals and objectives, and will be able to develop and implement campaigns that align with these goals. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including police officers, staff, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing, communications, and behavior-change campaigns that promote the great work of Essex Police and Kent Police.
  • Lead a team of marketing and communications professionals to deliver successful campaigns.
  • Work closely with partners in national and local businesses, volunteer networks, and across policing in the UK and overseas to promote the police force's work.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a marketing, communications, or public affairs role.
  • Experience of leading teams and delivering successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the police force's goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A competitive salary of £45,546.00, rising to a maximum of £48,966.00.
