About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead Lytham, Fylde and Wyre. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, including conversation, reading, and engaging in activities
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking, transferring, and using assistive devices
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, as well as assist with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably in a home care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to scheduling and tasks
  • Basic knowledge of care and support principles, including dignity, respect, and person-centered care
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (for some roles)
